The writer will devote to the exploration ofthat domain, to summing up the reason of the subject changing and analysising thecomparison of operations from different subjects through the actual examples.Compared with the unidimensional operation, the benefit of the two-dimensionaloperation are to sharing the burden of the United Nations and to resolving regionalconflicts better. However, the shortcomings are also obvious: neutrality of someorganizations that is worth investigation, lack of certain resources for internationalorganizations, threat to the authority of the United Nations from internationalorganizations and so on. By contrast， the multidimensional operation havecharacteristics as follow：preventing the pervasion of the conflicts effectively，fixingout the regional conflicts rapidly，focusing more on the humanitarianism assistance.While many subjects in the same region are used to argue with each other thatdecreases the operation and injures the national sovereignties cause of no uniformpolicies to be created.Due to above benefits and shortcomings of those operations, the actual situationat the conflict region results in the way to be taken. Currently, the issues are as below:the query to the authority of peacekeeping, the loose organization, the challenge to theUnited Nations as the leader and so on. It need to be done to push the development ofthe peacekeeping operation and keep the safety and peace of the world in further on the expansion of the fund resource, the enhancing the mixed-ability of thepeacekeeping staff, strengthening the cooperation between regional organizations andimproving the operation mechanisms. In future, the peacekeeping operation will be asignificant way to keeping safety and peace of the world.
