While Marxist chinization, modernization and popularization is a long-way and glorious cause onthe Chinese marching way, deeply researching their connotations and mutual relationships is an everlastingproject placed in front of the Chinese people. The question is how to study the relationship between onething and another and whether only the relationships are concerned. This paper holds a reasonable andconvincing conclusion cannot be reached, only this being done. Illustrating the relationship of things has tostart from the essence of describing things. The essence is the reason for things’ existence and thefundamental nature of a thing distinguished from other things. Thus, an obvious research method willemerge: the study of the relationship between things should start from the study the nature of things. Whenthe essence is explicitly explained, then the relationship between things will clear up. Following this line ofthought, this paper will dwell on studying the logical relationships among Marxist chinization, modernization and popularization. The first work to be done is not to qualitatively expound therelationships among “Three-zations”, but to clarify their highlighted essence in different theoreticalperspectives, and hence the explanation of their logical relationships becomes a natural thing.Marxism is a sense of understanding and guidance from the law of human liberation ideology. Itspractice carrier is the socialist movement aimed at achieving common prosperity. The vast social changeproject is bound to go through the gradually expanded territorial development, reflect the conversion ofseveral different themes of the times, and need step-by-step participation of social populace, which presentsthe development process of Marxist nationalization, modernization and popularization. Specific temporalityand spatiality possessed by China’s socialist revolution and construction constitute the foundation of dialectically understanding Marxist nationalization, modernization and popularization. In the perspective oftime and space, subject, space and time are closely linked. The subject without space or time cannot beimagined, let alone time or space divorced from subject. The dialectical relationships between the threedetermine the inherent logical relationships between Marxist “Three-zations” is also the dialectical unity.According to historical materialism, productivity changes will inevitably lead to changes inproductive relations, which in turn affect changes in the superstructure. Historical evolution of socialismwith Chinese characteristics also follows the basic logic of historical materialism, which begins with thechoice of the mode of development productivity. That is to say, the future social productive organizationmode based on Marxism should be combined with the Chinese reality to form China’s social productiveorganization mode; its deepening lies in Marxist modernization, requiring that chinized achievements berecognized based on times and conditions and that right judgments be given; its success lies in Marxistpopularization, making it clear how to better make the corresponding change on superstructure inaccordance with the Chinese reality and era and then to make it better represent the fundamental interests ofChinese people’s most vast majority. The above-mentioned historical development is also the logicalexpansion, and chinization, modernization and popularization are provided with a progressive process ofcontemporary China’s socialist movement oriented to socialism with Chinese characteristics.Marxist chinization, modernization and popularization are by no means divorced from“Marxism”. They are the development of Marxism in China, the combination with the times and the needsof the masses. Its essence is the innovation and development of Marxist theory. The reason why Marxismwas able to innovation and development is ultimately that any scientific theory must focus on practicalissues, and strengthen problem awareness. Evading the actual problem and lacking problem awareness, thiskind of theory will not survive. The point is that people form a correct Marxist concept, recognizing that Marxism is a scientific methodology and a guide to action, rather than dogma. Any one of Marxism “Three-zations” is Marxist innovation and development, which includes some aspect of the Marxist theoreticalinnovation and embodies different theoretical points. However, simultaneously “Three-zations” in turnconstitute Marxist holistic theoretical innovation and development. The relationship between “Three-zations” is both opposite and unified. In terms of their origins, Marxist chinization, modernization and popularization are inevitablyproduced by practice and an inevitable result from constantly deepening human thought in accordance withpractice changes. Each region has its own practice characteristic. Every era has its own practice theme.Every subject has a different role and needs in their practice. Based on different regions and differentthemes and different subjects, Marxist chinization, modernization and popularization become the inevitableresult of the development and perfection of Marxism. However, the relationship between the three is not asimple juxtaposition, because practice is a gross practice, in which any element change will cause practicechanges. The relation between the elements in practice is not a simple juxtaposition or inclusion, butmutual blending.
