The war caused the destruction of life. Armed conflicts still exist widely in theinternational community, protection in armed conflicts of rights is still the internationalsociety should pay attention to the problem, especially the protection of vulnerablegroups such as women and children’s rights, as the vulnerable groups of women, theirrights against often suffered more serious damage than civilians, they are oftenintimidated, abuse even killed, raped, the international community should pay attentionto the protection of them. The world is not very peaceful. Many places are still verycasualties. Especially vulnerable groups such as women suffered serious destruction inarmed conflict.There are four chapters in this paper. The main content of the article is to introducehow to improve the women rights in armed conflict. Among them, the first part is anoverview of the protection of the women rights in armed conflict, first introduced theconnotation of the protection of the women rights. The rules of international law ofarmed conflict and the violation of the women rights and armed conflict.The second part is to introduce the international law on the protection of women’srights in armed conflict, mainly from two aspects of international treaties andinternational custom, the existing international armed conflicts on the protection ofwomen’s rights and discusses the provisions. The author will mainly from “the Genevaconvention relative to the protection of civilian persons in time of war” to introduce andgive examples.The third part is to introduce the protection of the rights of women in armed conflictis facing the dilemma of international law. In this part, the main content includes threeaspects: One is the defects of protection, the rules of international humanitarian law ofwomen’s rights; Second, it is the international judicial level, existing problems inprotection of them; Three, humanitarian facing the challenge of aid in armed conflict. The fourth part is the key part of this paper, the main approaches to the protection ofthe rights of women in armed conflicts and improve the proposed two aspects werediscussed, points out that international armed conflicts on the protection of the womenrights still exist many problems and how to improve the international law of armedconflict in the way of the women rights protection, this part is also the innovation of thispaper, the author put forward from the United Nations we suggestions, will also beintroduced in armed conflict, inter-governmental organizations and internationalnon-governmental organizations, different on the protection of the women rights inarmed conflict.
