The Sino-Japanese War of1894had brought great shock to the Chinese traditional scholar class. As a result, the political reforms had become a social consensus. Liang was embarked on the stage of history at this time. In the period of the Hundred Days Reform, his thoughts mainly included "religious worship outlook "," Mencius’s cosmopolitanism "and " social evolution ideology ".The purpose of these thoughts was to change the country’s political system. But the failure of the Reform Movement also lead to the ideas’bankrupt.Liang thought that the Confucianism was only a small number of civilian political beliefs.
