At precent, China is experiencing a full range of social transformation. Social transformation is a complex, long-term, broad process in all aspects of political, economic, cultural and other. Chinese management thought and management practices are affected by the social transformation. With China’s comprehensive strength increases, especially since the financial crisis, Chinese management thought, management philosophy and management model have withstood the test of crisis and are attracting attention and research in the western world.However, in the world system of management theory, the current international discourse situation of Chinese management thought in social transformation is not optimistic. On the one hand, the western management thought dominates in the world in terms of university curriculum, textbooks selection, and research methods, and experts use western management thoughts and management tools to analyze and solve China’s problems.Western mainstream medias also monopolize the production and dissemination of global information. On the other hand, the Chinese management thought does not occupy a favorable position. China lack for the awareness of speak and at the same time, the discourse spread mechanism is immature, the path of the discourse spread is narrow and the content of the discourse is incidental. Overall, as China haven’t kept pace with the formation of the world system and there are much cultural differences and value differences between China and the west. Besides,the management discipline itself develops imperfectly. The international discourse power of Chinese management thought is too introverted and local for many reasons.If China wants to occupy a favorable position in the world management system, they must put their own distinctive and universal content to show to the world. With five thousand years of civilization and history and thirty years of management practices, China has the sufficient strength to fight for international discourse power. As the representative of Chinese ancient management thought, Confucianism, Taoism, Legalism, and Military strategists condense a profound management philosophy and management wisdom. If they combine modern management practices, they will be able to play excellent influence. In addition, the new management idea in social transformation is showing the characteristics that is different from which in the steady state. This new management idea exists between the tradition and the westernization, the planning system and the market system, the change and the development and it enriches the world of management theory system greatly. It will also provide experiences and inspiration for other transition countries and make new contributions for management theory and practice.Chinese management thought in the transition period has ample space for discourse. Content is not the main factor restricting the discourse power and how to turn the discourse space into discourse power is an important problem. In this respect, at the macro level, we should build a strategic system for the international discourse of Chinese management thought.And at the micro level, we can develop a detailed and rigorous measures in the aspects of the discourse perpetrators, the discourse content, the discourse object, the discourse platform and the discourse feedback to enrich the international discourse strategic system, to expand discourse communication channels, and to enhance the voice sounds. |
