In the history of our country, people’s livelihood and national interest are linked together. Thus the improvement of people’s livelihood and the pursuit of happiness of the people’s livelihood is the social foundation and driving force to realize the national prosperity. The reform and opening-up policy of our country began from the resolving of urgent problems regarding people’s livelihood.and has been followed this trajectory since then. People’s livelihood has the direct bearing not only on the people’s vital interests,but also on the legitimate foundation of long-term and stable leadership and the permanent stability of the country and people. The report of the18th National People’s Congress says that enhancement of the construction of society should focuse on ensuring and improving people’s livelihood. It is every Marxism theoretical worker’s duty to advance a theoretical explanation for the people’s livelihood with Marxism to obtain the legitimacy of ideology. Thus this paper has great practical significance and theoretical significance.This paper makes a philosophical interpretation of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood. It has four parts as follows.In the first part,I analyze the research background and significance of this subject.,related issues domestic and overseas, definition of relevant concepts, the research methods and the innovation of this thesis.In the second part I write the theory origin of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood.. Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood Inherited and developed from the livelihood concept of French initiation thinkers’"humanism" in the18th century,Hegel,German classical philosopher,established the "absolute spirif" of the concept of the people’s livelihood,the people’s livelihood of Feuerbach"humanism",and the livelihood concept of the idealistic utopian socialists.After the great ablution in thoughts,Marx’s the mentality thoughts of the people’s livelihood can be formed. It experienced some changes:the law of reason verse the law of interest-the radical change from Doctoral to Rheinische; political liberation verse anthropic liberation-the exploration of Revulotionary to the value of people’s livelihood; alienation labor verse free and self-conscious activity-the interpretation to two kinds of livelihood; the perceptual object verse the perceptual activity-the building of historical view of people’s livehood from German ideology.Thus,every change of historical view of Marx’s thought has great relation to rethink of the thought of people’s livehood.In the third part I write the four dimension of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood.With the logic of "live needs-production practice-public horizon-individual development", this paper will give a philosophical interpretation of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood from the following four dimension:need dimension-the starting point of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood; practice dimension-realization approach of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood.public dimension-institutional assurance of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood; Humanistic dimensions-value orientation of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood. With this multiple-dimention analysis.this paper will have a overall grasp of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood.In the forth part I write about "Enlightenments of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood on the construction of contemporary Chinese people’s livelihood."Based on the four dimensions mentioned above, this paper analyzes the enlightenments of Marx’s thoughts of the people’s livelihood on the construction of contemporary Chinese people’s livelihood. Grasping and analyzing the need of people’s livelihood is the basic premise of the Chinese people’s livelihood construction. Making social practice is the path to the Chinese people’s livelihood construction. Equalization of public service is the basic protection of the Chinese people’s livelihood construction. Guarantee of people first is the basic value of the Chinese people’s livelihood construction.
