Public diplomacy is a sovereign state, through the media, sports, cultural forms, new diplomacy to the public as the main object, the aim is to increase national influence, improve the national image, so as to realize the interests of the state. In this study, from the perspective of public diplomacy, to Chinese ASEAN International rally and Chinese ASEAN media rally (hereinafter referred to as "rally") as the research object, research on the communication strategy and foreign media to construct the image of its main body structure.Study found that, regardless of the specific implementation of public diplomacy why square, the leading position of the government is the same, public diplomacy is in the service of the national interest. However, due to bureaucratic fetters, affect the efficiency of the whole event.In the dissemination strategy, the reporter as a "natural diplomat" to participate in the rally of the reports, but a lack of "foreign" consciousness, to his position tends to spread to participate in events. The government for the rally media invitation, the analysis of the specific effects of mass media, such as media for the majority of the domestic media, and in the foreign media, non-Chinese media less and less; and the media report on the process genre, not comprehensive and issues the relative concentration of the problem also reflects obviously.Based on the analysis of the data and puts forward problems put forward a proposal on the communication strategy of sports events from the perspective of public diplomacy, the body needs to streamline the bureaucracy, and in the communication strategy, to do fine management each link.
