Thatcher’s Government Housing Support Policy Research

Housing issue has been a major problem faced by each British government. Themain content of this paper is the housing support policies of the Thatcher government,the main content of the article is divided into four parts were discussed.The first part of the paper focuses on the evolution of housing policy in Britishhistory, history is divided into three stages: the first stage is the before1915Britishhousing policy, housing problems at this stage was concentrated expression of theworking class poor housing conditions, the Government achievement of housing policywas reflected in greatly improved public health; second stage is1915to1945, theBritish government to solve the housing problem highlighted in the rent control law andAddison; third stage is from1945to1979, government issued a more diverse sessionsof laws, regulations and provisions.The second part of the article analyzes the background housing support policyreform.
