The social responsibility of international corporations has become a consensus by most countries and people in the current economic globalization, but the responsibility of human rights that they should take on is not widely accepted in the domestic and international laws. Although the improvement of economy boosted by international corporations has bettered the social and economic standards of people, but the activities or their negative attitudes on human rights are often neglected by people. Now, with the increasing of their violations on human rights, and more exposure to their violation of the labor standards, environmental pollution and other activities, the international community began to concern the relationship between international corporations and human rights widely. Although rarely mentioned by international human rights, the theories of human rights and empirical studies have rarely taken the responsibility of the international corporation into account, that is, to improve and protect human rights. The aim of this paper is to expect the international community to strengthen cooperation and embody them in the main body of international human rights as early as possible, so as to promote them to assume or perform their corresponding responsibility of human rights.Based on the responsibility of human rights, the introduction part mainly analyzed background of the topic, the significance, the current research situation, the key and difficult points, the innovations and research methods. The text, by the analysis of foxconn incident, the introduction part comes up with the responsibility of human rights of transnational corporations firstly, and then compares and defines the responsibility of human rights in international corporations, and make a comparison on concept between their social responsibility and national human rights responsibility; and focus on what responsibilities the international corporations should take on. Secondly from the aspects of the system, theory and reality, the paper answers why transnational corporations are responsible for human rights; Then based on the definition of scope above, the thesis mainly discusses from three aspects of the employees, consumers and environment to analyze the present reason and situation of the human rights responsibility in transnational corporations, which serves the following advice; Finally in order to achieve the purpose of the thesis, the author proposed from the external environment and internal mechanism to solve what transnational corporations can do to promote their human rights responsibility; What concludes this paper is that transnational corporations should assume the corresponding responsibility of human rights. Because a lag of traditional international human rights law has been unable to meet the development of the social reality of human rights, the existing international laws can not provide effective protections of human rights, therefore, the international community should make new rules to support the protection of human rights; Obviously, in terms of violations of human rights, the transnational corporations did not make effective regulations, and transnational corporations should be included in the international human rights law, the main responsibility is to take the corresponding responsibility of human rights.
