Research On Rules Of Trade In Services In China-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement

Comparing with the tendency of global economic integration, there are certaincharacteristics with Regional Economic Integration, smaller and more easily to operate, whichhas been maintaining a sound momentum of growth. Many nations join into the process ofregional economic integration, meanwhile, they choose regional trade agreements andbilateral trade agreements in trade as their reciprocity policy and arrangement, includingChina, who takes positive attitude to this tendency. In2004, China-New Zealand Free TradeAgreement was singed and came into force(CNFTA), which impels positive influencebetween China-New Zealand.There are five sections in this paper to study the rules of trade in service in the CNFTAAgreement.The first section is the general description. By introducing the current situation of tradein service between China and New Zealand, it shows basic information about the signingbackground of CNFTA and the bilateral economic relationship. Based on that, this sectionthen fully describes the rules of trade in service in CNFTA and explains its arrangement.The second section is the national treatment rules of trade in services in CNFTA. Startingwith presenting the national treatment rules in international trade in services, it introduces andanalyzes the specific articles in CNFTA trade in services, and then makes comparativeanalysis of these rules between CNFTA and other FTAs signed by China or the FTAs signedby other countries.In third part, concerning about Market access system in trade in service of CNFTA, also,explaining Market access system in international trade in service first, on this basis,analyzing the same system in CNFTA, and discuss differences and similarities betweenCNFTA and other FTAs of China, finally, making comparisons about this system in CNFTAand related methods in other nations.In part four, the Recognition of service-providing qualifications of CNFTA, on the basisabout analyze the Recognition of service-providing qualifications in international trade inservice to discuss the same system in CNFTA, comparing the Recognition ofservice-providing qualifications in other FTAs of China and other country’s FTAssimultaneously.In part five,rules of origin of trade in service of CNFTA.In this part, analyzing the use of these rules in international trade in service, explaining these rules in CNFTA as following,finally, making comparisons with the rules of origin in other FTA.
