Empirical Analysis Of Jilin Province In The People’s Livelihood And Economic Development Relationship

In recent years, with the deepening of reform and opening-up, China has achievedrapid economic development. However, in the rapid economic development, lag ofsocial construction affects the stability and coordinated development of the wholesociety. The problem of employment, unfair income distribution and other relevantpeople’s livelihood problems gradually become the focus of attention by people. Ourgovernment attaches great importance to people’s livelihood improvement.The17th national congress of the communist party of china points out that“Moreimportance must therefore be attached to social development on the basis of economicgrowth to ensure and improve people’s livelihood, carry out social restructuring,expand public services, improve social management and promote social equity andjustice. We must do our best to ensure that all our people enjoy their rights to education,employment, medical and old-age care, and housing, so as to build a harmonioussociety.” Because of economic development is to improve people’s livelihood,therefore, to study the relation between the people’s livelihood and economicdevelopment has an important significance to improve the livelihood of the people andeconomic development. Domestic and foreign scholars have done some research on thepeople’s livelihood and economic development, but the research is limited to one oronly qualitative analysis. So, based on the existing research results, according to thepresent situation of Jilin Province, study the relationship between the development ofpeople’s livelihood and economy in Jilin province from two aspects of the quality ofpeople’s livelihood and public service, to promote the people’s livelihood andeconomic development provides the basis. In the1996to2012on the people’slivelihood, and economic development related data from a total of17years ofcomprehensive index, and then makes an empirical study on the quality of life index,public service index and the index of economic development. Exploration of people’slivelihood and economic development between the internal relations and the problems from the macro angle, and proposes relevant suggestions to solve the problem.The whole paper is divided into five parts: the first part introduces the researchbackground and the significance, elaborated the main content and innovation of thispaper, a brief overview of the current research status and theory; The second partbriefly on the people’s livelihood and economic development theory; the third partintroduces the status of the development of people’s livelihood and economy in Jilinprovince; The fourth part is the analysis of the empirical relationship between thepeople’s livelihood and economic development in Jilin Province, mainly through thecomprehensive index method to prepare the people’s livelihood development index andcomprehensive index of economic development, and the establishment of thecointegration analysis and regression model were used for statistical analysis on therelationship between the development of people’s livelihood and economicdevelopment in Jilin province, According to Grainger causality relationship betweenthe development of people’s livelihood and economy in Jilin Province, and find out thepeople’s livelihood development and problems in the development of economy; Thefifth part is to put forward some countermeasures to promote the people’s livelihoodand economic development.
