From1921to1927, the Communist Party of China which acts as the compassneedle of China’s proletarian revolution came into being. A large numbers of earlycommunists like Chen duxiu, Li dazhao, Qu qiubai, undertaken the dual roles ofrevolutionary and newspaperman since they set foot on the political area. Theycarried out vigorous revolutionary activities, and at the same time they promoted thedevelopment of the newspapers of the Communist Party of China. There were40kinds of newspapers published during this time which including party papers, youthnewspapers, and so on. And the development of the newspapers had experienced fourstages: From1919to1921, the new revolutionary newspapers which were preparedfor the founding of the party emerged in large numbers before the communist party ofChina was set up; From1921to1924, the Communist Party of China graduallyformed and then organized a revolutionary newspapers network step by step; From1924to1927, implementation of the KMT-CPC cooperation promoted national unitedfront of newspapers; In1927, Jiang jieshi, Wang jingwei launchedcounter-revolutionary coup in succession, the newspapers were forced to workunderground.Most of the newspapermen at the early age of the Communist Party of Chinawere born in the well-off family from the relatively area like Jiangsu and Zhejiang;they were influenced by traditional culture, also accepted the relatively high level ofmodern education. They were full of revolutionary spirit when they face the socialreality of problems coming from home and abroad. They gathered with close internalrelationship, formed like-minded friends by common revolutionary ideal of reformingsociety. They were actively running and making use of the press to carry out thestruggle. Their concept of news formed during this period. They throw their self in tothe newspaper based on the needs of the revolution, opened up the start point of theCommunist Party of China journalism.
