Leader’s public image is one of the public products exported public sector. It notonly represents a leader’s personal image, but also represents the government image andnational image. Leader’s public image is a non-power influence, and the main factors ofthe soft power. As a special social resource Leaders in the public image is a kind ofconsciousness, but plays a very important role in leadership influence. Good leaderimage is a kind of intangible assets, and is the effective premise of leadership role to play.Shaping public image of the leadership has become one of the important issues ofgovernment. In network political environment, the leader’s behavior has become thefocus of public attention, and has become a public issue in word and public topic. How toshape a good public image in network political environment has become the problem thateach leader must face and solve. The author explores the challenge that network politicalenvironment offers to the public image of the leaders and analysis the problems inshaping the public image of leaders, then put forward the solution. This thesis is dividedinto five parts. The first part mainly introduces the selected topic background, this thesisselected topic significance, and theory of relevant research both at home and abroad.Finally introduces the innovation point and research methods. The second part mainlyexplains the network politics and connotation and characteristics of political environment.The third part analyses the challenge that network offer to the public image of leader baseon the explanation of public image of leaders and the shaping of leader’ public image.The fourth part focuses on analyzing the problems existing in the public image shaping innetwork political environment. Mainly includes lack of the public image creationconsciousness and ability, leadership quality and ability is low, and the poor performancein deal with the "network crisis". The fifth part put forward the correspondingcountermeasures about leader’ image shaping. Mainly include strengthening the consciousness of shaping leader’s public image, improving the ability of leader imagecreation, enhancing leader’s own quality and ability, perfecting the mechanism of usingthe internet to shape the image.
