The compilation and propagation of the classics of Marxism-Leninism is the indispensable ideological support to the career of the new democratic in the first revolutionary civil war period. With CCP’s guidance, the career of compiling and propagating the classics of Marxism-Leninism gradually had been on the right track, armed the communist party of China people, the progressive intellectuals and revolutionary masses form inner-party education and non-party propaganda, thus providing the advanced theory of weapons to the new democratic revolution of china.It was not by chance that the career of compiling and propagating the classics of Marxism-Leninism had been on the way in the first revolutionary civil war period. In fact, its development not only benefited from historical accumulation, but also depended on real motivation. That is, it not only inherited the achievements acquired by the feudal literati, bourgeois improvers, bourgeois revolutionaries, anarchist and early Chinese communist, but also thanks to the proletariat’s growing, the political propaganda of CCP, intellectuals gathering in the party and the communist international’s instructions.Under the influence of the above factors, the intellectuals inner or outside CCP,such as Chen duxiu, Qu qiubai, Li chunfan, Li da, Kuang mohan, tries their best to translating Marxism-Leninism philosophical works, economics works, scientific socialism works, military works, works of the Soviet revolution and construction, theoretical works of national and colonial theory in just six years’time. Being different from the translation ahead of the establishment of CCP, these classics compiled presents new features under the leadership of CCP, such as translation quality improving, Various translation form coexisting and published in the form of books. All kinds of works being available gradually had transformed Chinese world outlook, enlightened their Struggle consciousness, thus promoting the historical process of the new democratic revolution.Translation work is only the premise. Marxism-Leninism theory could not find out the "material weapon" without the newspapers and magazines inner or outside CCP, the publishing institutions actively cooperating with between the revolutionary commemoration and school. Benefiting from these factors, these works marked full use of various channels such as "New youth" magazine, the republic of China Daily enlightenment supplement, the People’s Publishing House, Lenin’s anniversary and Shanghai university, applied various sales approach such as price cut, advertising, party members’promoting, to spread across the country,thus laying the Theoretical foundation for the Chinese revolution.This paper is to draw four points from the compilation and propagation of the classics of Marxism-Leninism in the first revolutionary civil war period by probing and analysis its historical context. These points evolve that, Firstly, the members of CCP and intellectuals who becalmed the subject of localization of Marxism in China established Marxism-Leninism faith. Secondly, the members of CCP were inspired to adapt Marxism to Chinese conditions consciously. Thirdly, to generate Chinese Marxist concept, the members of CCP expanded the extension of "proletariat". Fourthly, the Initial results of localization of Marxism in China had generated by understanding China’s national conditions, establishing the revolution object, looking for a revolutionary force, determining the nature of revolution.
