China has a long history of agricultural civilization. The stability anddevelopment of rural areas has a very close relationship with the stability of the wholecountry. The villagers’ autonomy is a great creation by the Communist Party of China;which took place in the reform of the political system in order to promote democracyof the grassroots. It has been proved in practice to be a suitable political system forthe Chinese situation. The promotion of the rural political democratization mostlyembodies the enthusiasm of the farmers’ activeness in the political participation ofvillagers’ autonomy system, and it directly reflects the farmers’ management ofvillage affairs through democratic elections, democratic management and democraticdecision-making and democratic supervision. Consequently, it determines theoperation and development of the village and creates a better life for themselves.Based on the development of time series and the background of the entire event afterthe reform and opening up in rural China, this paper focuses on the process ofpolitical democratization and problems existed during the process of urbanization in aTibetan ethnic village of the western minority areas; meanwhile it obtains richexperiences and put forward some relevant theoretical reference. Theory guide is tomake macroeconomic reform and micro-behavior relations clear, reveal thegrassroots’ main role in the regional political and institutional change, which canintegrate all the advantages. At last, it researches the theoretical explorations in orderto enrich theory and knowledge of Marxism in China.
