Evaluation Of Ghayratjan Osman`s Uyghur Classical Literature Study

Uyghur classical literature is a huge field. Because of its long history, lots of research goals, complexity of the issues raised, therefore it requires the researchers to have extensive knowledge, strong sense of responsibility, conscientiousness, scientificity and the ability to endure hardship. Ghayratjan Osman is the very person who shouldering the heavy tasks. He put forward numerous of unique perspective that have reference value In Uyghur classical literature research, and plays Indispensable role on the formation of systematic study of Uyghur classical literature, and the latter development of Uyghur literature.The thesis summed up the research of Ghayratjan Osman`s Uyghur classical literature study in recent 35 years, and known research results both in our country and foreign countries, and discuss on the characteristics of his research.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction, main content(three chapters) and conclusion. In the introduction part I briefly introduce the reason of the topic selection, Research significance, the present state of study of this topic both in our country and foreign countries, research object and research methods used.The first chapter includes Ghayratjan Osman’s lifetime and the research results in various field.In the second chapter three phases that separated by year presents the history of Uygur classical literary researches of Ghayratjan Osman, and each section describes the general situation of the study of every stage.In the third chapter I illustrated Ghayratjan Osman`s typical works and analyzed his reserch on the study of ancient folk literature of Uygur, Orhun literature, The kalahan Dynasty literature, Chaghatai and Timur literature, and Uyghur literature in Qing Dynasty.In the fourth chapter I analyzed study characteristics of Ghayratjan Osman`s Uyghur classical literature by studying his reserch`s the characteristics of the content, research method, research attitude, teaching materials about Uygur classical literature and other kinds of books. In the end, introdused Ghayratjan Osman`s state in Uyghur classical literature study field.In the conclusion, I brought up some problems have been resolved and the existing problems in Ghayratjan Osman`s Uygur classical literary research.In the end, I gave the total catalog of Ghayratjan Osman`s research achievements.
