Effects Of Decision Thinking Model And Risk Preference Of University Students On Risk Decision-making

In recent years, with the deepening of the research of behavioral economics, risk decision making problems become an interdisciplinary field of study, which is highly appreciated by scholars, and scholars conducted a series of valuable researches. In the past research, although there are some risk decisions based on decision theory research, but most of them are in the perspective of a single decision model, which makes the applicability of the study limit, and the existing researches rarely set out from two aspects of personality and thinking at the same time for the further research of risk decision-making psychology. This study was based on the angle of view, taking university students as the research objects, under the condition of investigating the thinking mode of individual risk preference and decision-making factors, and it researched the differences in behaviour and influencing mechanism in the individual risk decision-making.This study first selected 80 participants from four universities in Guizhou province according to the risk preference questionnaire data, including 40 participants in risk aversion group, 40 participants in risk seeking group. Then they were respectively into the different thinking mode of risk decision-making tasks, and 20 participants from risk avoidance and 20 participants from risk seeking group used intuition thinking to complete the task,while 20 participants from risk avoidance and 20 participants from risk seeking group completed the task by analyzing thinking.This research is for the 2 x 2 subjects between design experiment, and independent variable is for risk preference and decision thinking mode, which are variables between the participants. Risk preference includes two levels, namely risk avoidance and risk pursuit;decision thinking mode includes two levels, intuitive thinking and analytical thinking;dependent variable is as the project investment grade, through survey and experimental research on the method of combining university students’ preference for risk and decision thinking mode on its risk decision mechanism, and the results showed that:First, the university students overall score high risk preference, and the university student groups tend to be more risk seeking in decision-making. Male university students prefer to risk pursuit on the decision-making behavior than women; the university students having part-time behavior tend to be more risk than those without part-time behavior on the decision-making behavior; it shows that the grade difference, the freshman tend to risk aversion than other grade tend to risk aversion.Second, there is no significant influence on university students’ risk decision-making behavior,and risk preference significantly affects the risk decision behavior of university students.Third, risk aversion type university students are more adventurous on the analysis of the thinking mode of decision-making behavior, which tends to be conservative in intuition thinking mode.However, risk seeking type university students tend to be conservative on the analysis of thinking mode, and they tend to adventure in the intuition thinking mode.
