Since the introduction of Buddhism to China,it is always adjusted to adapt to the Chinese culture atmosphere.A special Buddhist scripture-Chinese apocrypha,which never were paid attention to by Buddhist,were made in the process.But,the scriptures play an important role in the researching of the process,that interacting between Buddhism and Chinese traditional culture.There are a varieties of Chinese apocrypha in the Dunhuang manuscripts.The Foshuotiandibayangshenzhoujing was widely prevalent in Dunhuang and the surrounding in late Tang,Wudai and beginning of Song dynasty.This paper talked about a series of problem based on the scripture.The conclusions obtained are followed:1.The scripture are common on the other Dunhuang manuscripts wrote from late Tang to beginning of Song dynasty.2.The was not translated by Xuan-zang or Yi-jing,moreover,we still do not know the author and the correct time of it but it was wrote in the middle 8th century.3.The scripture was the product of interaction between Buddhism and Chinese traditional culture.4.The people in Dunhuang and the surrounding,always attached importance to the value of belief,meanwhile,they also ignore the argumentation of the scripture.This phenomenon can be verified by the Buddhist tradition and turbulent society in Dunhuang and the surrounding from late Tang to beginning of Song dynasty.
