Art is the shell of the spirit, the spirit is the soul of Art. The spirit out of the art is entity, and the art out of spirit is just a shell which Adorno believed perhaps even not shell. The dialectics of negation is the foundation stone of modern art. Since the enlightenment, instead of God, reason became a new myth, and then in the capitalist society, everything that can’t be summed up by rational thinking is removed. Adorno thought that the concept of trying to describe exactly what it was ruled out, and the non identity of the non concept itself is the place of interest in philosophy. The concept should not be the end, but should be the starting point of understanding. Modern art has become the existence of the same, which in the same society is recognized as "anti art".In the face of the social reality of the integration of capitalism, the spirit of the art was completely abandoned. Alienation of the reality bring about the alienation of art, so Modern art is with a strong sense of the gesture which is "anti art" to save the art. From the imitation, riddle, illusion to the truth content, modern art has its own set of rescue mechanism. Modern art seems to "beat him at his own game", as the "anti art", it is more exciting at this vision, and reality of the perfect vision of confrontation. Facing the integration of capitalism and the erosion of the cultural industry, the culture art of our country should also learn from modern art and Adorno’s negative truth content concept, and with its own inherent traditional culture and reality as the object of imitation, to create a cultural and artistic characteristics of Chinese characteristics.
