The Chinese modern lacquer painting rises in 1930 s and 1940 s, growing into a certain scales in 1960 s.Nowadays, the modern lacquer painting has been an independent modern painting, with the hard exploration of the artists of the older generation. However, as one kind of the pure drawing, lacquer painting exists stage shortages on many aspects, such as the excessive ?picture processing?, imitating other materials? language expression, the intentional thinking routines of ?deformation?, ?complanation?, ?decorationism? cater to ?the linguistic features of lacquer? and so on, these are the problems to be resolved in the course of development of this new-arising painting. This paper will have a discussion around ?the uniqueness of lacquer painting?s art-language representation?, make a systematic summarization of all kinds of influencing factors in the creation process of lacquer painting, including material characteristics, tools usage, drawing methods and so on, make a clear analysis of the aesthetic misunderstandings which easily be gotten into and the advantages of material expression which easily be ignored. And the paper puts forward the important role of transformation and accumulation of modeling conception and painting consciousness in the creation of lacquer painting. The paper also analysis the concrete picture of painting consciousness reflected in the requirements.Based on the creative practice, the paper talks about the author?s individualization understanding and ways of interpretation, shares the experiences of tools and media?s creative usage during the creation, make a prospect of the author?s creating direction in lacquer painting in the future and the development trend of lacquer painting, and then come to the conclusion.
