Resilience is a kind of psychological trait that has been paid more and more attention with the rise of positive psychology. It is the mental function that the individual can maintain or recover quickly after experiencing adversity or trauma. It can be seen that it can promote the good learning adaptability and physical and mental health.In recent years, the healthy growth of boarding children is a problem that has been paid attention to, and the development of its psychological resilience should be highly valued by educators and researchers. To this end, this study through the literature, interviews and other methods, the preparation of a group of children in line with the resilience of the quality of measurement tools---- boarding children’s psychological resilience scale.The definition of this study closely linked resilience, of 20 large negative life events and experiences that can adapt well to the boarding children interviews, and combined with the previous research, the preliminary selected 109 entries, in 450 pupils for a preliminary test and cull invalid questionnaires obtained effective questionnaire 420 copies. Through identification item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, retained the 20 topics, contains emotion regulation, self efficacy, understanding and caring, self-confidence and interpersonal support five factors, each factor have four questions. Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin sampling enough degrees of value is 0.828, is significant at the 0.01 level, explaining 50.5% of the total variance; retest effective and 301 questionnaires, reliability and validity, indicators are in line with psychometric requirements, has good reliability and validity.The developmental characteristics of resilience of boarding children:(1) Boarding children’s resilience table score and each dimension problems mean higher than Richter scale scoring average 3, boarding children’s resilience in good condition as a whole.(2) The total score of resilience of boarding children and the scores of girls were higher than boys, resilience, caring and understanding, self confidence and self strengthening, emotion regulation girls were significantly higher than boys.(3) The level of emotion regulation in grade 5 and grade 7 was significantly higher than that in grade 6.(4) Self confidence and self strengthening, emotion regulation and control, the non only child’s resilience is significantly higher than the only child.(5) The resilience of the boarding life for three years is significantly higher than that of the boarding age for one year or less; the care and understanding of the boarding period is more than three years is significantly higher than that of the boarding age for one year or less.(6) The level of emotional regulation of children in a family with more difficult economic conditions was significantly higher than that of children with better economic families.(7) The main support for the parents of boarding children’s self efficacy and care understanding is significantly higher than the main support for the parents outside the boarding children.(8) The father education level is junior school, the boarding children’s emotional regulation and control, self efficacy, love and understanding and self confidence and self-reliance of the father’s education level of primary school.(9) The boarding children’ resilience and the factors were not significantly different between the primary school and the primary school of mothers.Boarding children’ resilience exist some significant differences in gender, grade and boarding period, but also by its impact on whether the only child, family income, family factors, mainly to raise the educational level of parents.Boarding children’ resilience, social support and loneliness of the relationship, the analysis results show that boarding children’s resilience and social support can predict loneliness; Resilience has moderating and mediating effects for social support and loneliness.
