| Purpose: To understand the current situation and influencing factors of ecological executive function in adolescents with depression; To investigate the effect of micro expression recognition training for adolescents with depression and executive functions.Methods: Survey research uses Questionnaire method,professionally trained psychiatrists diagnose illnesses and completed the collection of demographic data and clinical data, trained psychology graduate students to collect the individual executive functions and relevant influencing factors, includes the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function Self-Report, Hamilton depression scale, Self-Rating scale, the Automatic Thoughts questionnaire, the Youth Life Event scale and FACES II-CV. To investigate the relationship between executive functions and related factors using multivariate analysis. Intervention study of the control method, use the micro expression recognition training tool for individual training, approximately 1.5 hour per person.Depressed patients in the control group were not involved in the training component of the tool, only the micro-expressions training tool in early test and the ultimate test. Using independent samples t-test comparing the outcome of the executive function and the ability to identify the micro-expression between he two groups and the changes in training group.Results:1 Survey findings:(1) Executive function in patients with adolescent depression and each dimension showed no significant difference on the gender(p>0.05). The inhibition and working memory of adolescent depression has significant differences in level of education(p<0.05),has obvious differences in initial diagnosis and consultation(p<0.05).(2) The self-rating depression in patients was positively related to executive function of shift, behavioral regulation index and global executive composite(p<0.05). Automatic thoughts was positively correlated with working memory factor and cognitive shift factor(p<0.05). The five dimensions of the life events were significantly associated with some factors of executive function(p<0.05). The practicaladaptation of family was significant positive correlation with working memory factor, and was significant negative with behavioral shift(p<0.05).(3) Regression analysis indicates that the main influencing factors of global executive composite were penalty factor, study pressure factor and the degree of depression scores; the main influencing factors of behavioral regulation index were study pressure factor, health factor, penalty factor, the self-rating of depression,age and initial diagnosis or further consultation.2 Intervention study results:(1) The training group’s ability of recognize micro expressions compared with the control group was improved significantly after micro-expression training(p<0.05); and the training group’s ability to identify the micro-expression is significantly increased to prior without training(p<0.05).(2) The global executive composite and behavioral regulation index of training group showed a distinct improvement to the control group(p<0.05), and it were significantly increased to prior without training(p<0.05). But meta cognition index were no significant differences between the training group and control group(p>0.05).(3) The analysis showed that the micro-expression training put an influence on the inhibit, shift, emotional control of behavioral regulation index, and its also have effect on the working memory of meta cognition index, present difference within the groups and between the groups(p>0.05).Conclusion:1.The executive function of adolescent depression has different degrees of relationship with their self-rating depression, automatic thoughts and life events, family adaptability and education levels. Bad life events and negative automatic thoughts can increase the patient’s depression, which directly or indirectly affect their executive functions.2.The micro-expression training can improve the ability of identify micro expression for adolescent depression.3.Micro-expression recognition training can improve adolescent behavioral regulation index and the global executive composite, but failed to improve meta cognition index. Factor analysis showed that the micro-expression recognition training can improve the inhibit, shift, emotion control factors in behavioral regulation index,and working memory in meta cognition index. |
