"Flower" is a form of music art sung by the nations of Salar, Monguor, Hui, Dongxiang, and Baoan, etc., and in the aspect of language, it mainly sings with the local language. "Flower" has the mild and indirect melody and various forms, and moreover, it has the full-bodied local flavor. Zhangjiachuan Flower is the art language of more than three hundred thousand sons and daughters of the Hui and Han nations who live in the area of Zhangjiachuan, a piece of fertile land. Zhangjiachuan Flower is not in the book, and it is in every corner of Zhangjiachuan people’s life. Due to the geographical environment factors, the living environment of the plain Zhangjiachuan people is relatively hard. However, they are eager to obtain the happiness, and they pass their pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy in life to others with the form of singing. They face toward the towering Guan Mountain and sing loudly to this land. Whether poor or rich, the love is always permeate in the heart of the youth in a casual way. When they do not know how to express their affection, they will express through the Zhangjiachuan Flower. The "rhyme" of Zhangjiachuan Flower has a deep, beautiful and resounding tone in the phrase and the minimum structure, and moreover, the eyebrow households in Shaanxi interplay and permeate in each other. In the performance of some specific works, it adds the trill and the glide, which appears especially soundful. Moreover, it can be seen that it is the flower art which possesses the Muslim common properties. However, due to the influence of the environment, region and culture, there are similarities and differences between Zhangjiachuan Flower and Hezhou Flower. Therefore, in my opinion, researching and studying the Flowers and Zhangjiachuan Flower have a profound significance for inheriting and carrying forward the national culture, and meanwhile, it also has an important research value for understanding the history and living environment of Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County.
