A Comparative Study Of Female Painter Between Japanese And French In The Republic Of China

The Republican period was a special era breaking through several thousand years of feudal traditional thought " men are superior to women ", was also the time when Chinese and western culture collide with each other, and because of this, earth-shaking changes have taken place in Chinese painting, a batch of influential study in female painter were unprecedented appeared under the age of the special. They try their best to fight for voice of female art, taking their persistence in painting study abroad, to make unremitting efforts for the development and perfect of Chinese modern art.In this paper, the paintings of female painter study abroad in Japan and France were comparative analysis, the special history were reviewed and comb, the female painter group were systematically studied by using synthesis, analysis, illustration and comparison method, to provide some basis for correctly evaluate their position in art history. The first chapter of this article is mainly to do a brief introduction for Japanese and French painters’ life, combing their art experience. Chapter two, three and four deeply analyzed the painting of female painter study abroad in Japan and France of the early, middle and late periods, and mainly starts with the works, Compared the western modernism painting and Oriental traditional painting elements which was embodied in these works, as well as the work face Permeability and melting between each other. On this basis, the fifth chapter evaluated their artistic value, in order to reflect they make great contribution to the Chinese art directly or indirectly.
