The "Jungle" Series Printmaking Creation And Study

This paper elaborates the printmaking creation process and its significance through the three aspects, the systematic arrangement and research on Jungle series from topic background and the source of creation, print image language, computer image processing technology in the auxiliary of printmaking and creation process of " Jungle " series.Silkscreens has a relatively short history in our country while develops very quickly, on the one hand, it is due to the rapid development of national economy; on the other hand, it owes to the rapid development of computer network technology led by the computer’s widespread popularity, driving the way to the innovation of printmaking process. The first chapter of this paper mainly presents the the creative background of Jungle series and the reason why select the screen print as the final creation approach by research the social phenomenon as the creative source which is the continuous development of China’s economy in recent years, the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, the social material overcapacity, and people in the pursuit of people’s material life. The second chapter mainly elaborates the method and application of computer image processing technology in the auxiliary of production and plate-making technology in making silkscreens. In this chapter, more detailed study emphasize on standard four color plate-making methods and color separation plate-making technique characteristics. The third chapter mainly describes the printmaking of Jungle series from drawing manuscript, the researches on the mechanism of the concave and convex on the image; computer-aided production and plate-making techniques, and the method of making color overlay effect in the process of practice method.The development of science and technology constantly changes people’s way of life, and also cannot ignore its influence on the development of the art. I hope to express my artistic language and apply it to my own work through in the creation process researching on the plate-making way of computer-aided silkscreens, painting materials and color overlay effect.
