A Stndy Of Model Chinese Warnings

Warnings is the result of the development of the society. It has been thousands of years since Warnings appeared. The style of the old warnings is pretty simple, and also not very much, so scholars wouldn’t pay much attention to this topic. Since the beginning of the reform and opening in 1978, China economy has developed rapidly, politics and culture had big improvements, at the same time, many social contradictions have emerged, so the warnings were used again in many fields of the society. With the development of the modern Chinese warnings, more and more scholars began to study this language phenomenon. Because of different footholds, scholars hold different opinions on warnings’definition and classification. Study of this social language should start from actual, through a lot of examples, and combined with theoretical knowledge, then we could get a scientific conclusion. In the first chapter, after analysis the characteristic of Chinese Warnings, and comprehensive various views, I finally get the definition of the Chinese Warnings. What’s more, traditional ones are really different from the new ones, this essay summarized them in different ways. According to the analysis of the examples, we classify Modern Chinese Warning in different ways, and get its nature finally. Languages using cannot leave without the rhetoric, this is also one reason why the modern Chinese warnings are very colorful. So in the second chapter, this essay analysis 9 rhetoric methods which are used in Modern Chinese warnings, such as analogy, antithesis, parallelism, when these rhetoric methods were used in the warnings, different writing styles and topics would have different ways, so when using them, warnings must follow some principles. All these above are on the basic of warnings themselves. So this essay introduce Cognitive Linguistics in the third chapter, which give the study a theoretical guidance. Such as, cognitive category can prove the scientific of Chinese Warnings’classification,and Fuzzy theory could explain many phenomenon which the rhetoric theory cannot. This kind of study is a complete whole of practice and theory.
