An Overview On The Research About Literary Creation Of Guo Moruo During His Stay In Japan(2009-2015)

This paper focuses on the literary creation of Guo Moruo during his stay in Japan with an aim to work out a chronological catalog of and a review about the research status of the three aspects from 2009 to 2015 including poetry, novels and prose, and historical plays, which Guo Moruo created with his unique style in Japan.Through the review of and analysis on the popular points, methods and paradigms of the research, this paper sorts out the main accomplishments from the research on Guo Moruo’s Literary creation and points out some existing disadvantages as well, making a tentative analysis to the "dominant point " in the research in the 21st century on Guo Moruo’s Literary creation. This paper consists of four major parts:introduction, body, conclusion and appendix.The introduction part, first of all, makes an overall review of the research in the 21st century concerning Guo Moruo’s literary creation in Japan from a macroscopic perspective. Secondly, this part also describes briefly the research status on Guo Moruo’s literary creation and catalogs the research fruits from 2009 to 2015.The first chapter focuses on the research on Guo Moruo’s poetry. In this chapter, the author selects Guo’s masterpiece, The Goddesses, to sort out domestic scholars’ research results, making a comprehensive evaluation of the results in terms of research itself, aesthetic pursuit and the comparative study.The second chapter deals with the study on Guo Moruo’s novel and prose. In order to figure out the research situation of Guo Moruo’s novel and prose from 2009 to 2015, the author makes a detailed interpretation from four aspects that researchers have adopted to study Guo Moruo’s literary creations, namely historical novels, autobiographical novels, literary prose and autobiographical prose.The third chapter involves study on Guo Moruo’s historical dramas. The author puts priority on the feminism horizon, the aesthetic research, the comparative study and the theoretical study of his historical plays with an example of The Three Rebellious Women, a masterpiece of Guo Moruo’s historical plays in his early literary creation.The conclusion summarizes the popular points, methods and paradigms in the domestic research on Guo Moruo’s literary achievements in Japan, catalogs the main accomplishmen-t of the research, points out disadvantages and makes a tentative analysis to the "dominant point" in the research in the 21st century on Guo Moruo’s literary creation.Also, the appendix serves an important part of this paper as Appendix Ⅰ lists out the chronology of Guo Moruo’s literary creation during his study in Japan from 1914 to 1924 while Appendix II shows that during his exile in Japan from 1928 to 1937. In addition, Appendix III offers some Japanese data directory about the research on Guo Moruo’s literary creation during his stay in Japan.
