Research On The Origin And Branches Of The Na-jia-shi-fa-Simultaneously On The Academic Value Of Divination Of Yi Writing From Karakhoto

Najia Shifa is one of the most popular traditional divinations by Yi in a long time.As a cultural phenomenon accepted by the society in ancient China, the further research of Najia Shifa will help to understand the phenomenon of the society at that time and look into the mentality of the public. According to the traditional texts of Najia Shifa since the Han Dynasty with the discovered manuscripts, the present article makes an investigation to the origin and branches of the Najia Shifa and reveals the historical background and characteristics from three aspects of the literature style, use theory and divination matters.The Yi of Jingfang was easily created a theoretical system of Na-jia, and laid the foundation for Najia Shifa in thought and theoryAfter the transition period of the first to the sixth century, Najia Shifa began to take shape. The book Huozhu Lin, coming out at the end of Tang Dynasty and the beginning of Song Dynasty, signed a formal establishment of Najia Shifa.Through the development of the song and yuan dynasties,the theory of Najia Shifa has gradually improved. The contents have increasingly riched, and have distinct characteristics of the times.The Duanyi Tianji came out in Mid-Ming Dynasty, which made Najia Shifa reache a high level, and marked that the Najia Shifa was matured.In Qing Dynasty, the texts of Najia Shifa were quantity, strong theoretical and have more detailed content, but the methods were also rigidify. The origin of the Najia Shifa is a miniature for the whole process of technique development in ancient China.Judging from the situations reflected by the texts of Najia Shifa, the divination texts have reference value in the study of social reality at that time, people’s psychological and cultural transmission, etc. Being the first-hand materials to reflected the the northwest region’s condition in Xixia and Yuan Dynasties, and the relative lack of historical materials handed down from ancient times, the Divination manuscripts from Khara-Khoto not only have important value to explore the northwest region of social life during this period and the culture of astrology’s spread path, but also can make up for the lack to the history of Chinese astrology and restore how the civil used the augury then.
