This thesis aims to analyse a phonetic phenomenom in the dialect of Jeolla province appeared in "Hon-Bul" series 1-5 amongst total 10 series written by MyungHee Choi, published by Hangil in 1996. The method of quantitative linguistic analysis has been adapted by using a computer for its pocess and analysis. First, the whole, partial and dialog in the noble "Hon-Bul" had been separated and through this process, the characteristics of the dialect displayed.In the chapter 1, the purpose of research, significance, the object of study, and the method of the research have been described.In the chapter 2, the ’(?)’ [g]-group and ’(?)’ [h]-group palatalization phenomena through the novel of Myeonghui Choi, which is written by Myeonghui Choi had been examed. The ’(?)’ [g]-group appeared in the segmemt of morphem, but ’(?)’ [h]-group did not.In chapter 3, considering an umlaut phenomenon in morpheme, internal umlaut and the boundary umlaut in morpheme were divided. Within a morpheme and in the boundary,’subject-(?) [yee]’,’causative-(?)/(?)/(?) [yee/hee/gee]’linked actively to each other.In chapter 4, a vowel-fronting of phonological phenomena had beem examined through novel Hon-Bul, which is written by Myeonghui Choi. In addition, there are examples of the vowel-fronting of phonological phenomena not interrupted by various circumstances.In chapter 5, in conclusion, a palatalization phenomena, umlaut, vowel-fronting of phonological phenomena based on novel Hon-Bul, which is written by Myeonghui Choi had been briefly presented.
