The Construction Of Life Philosophy Under The Perspective Of Li Zhi’s "Childishness" (The True Heart)

Li Zhi was the most controversial figure in the history of Chinese thought since the late Ming Dynasty. He devoted all his life to achieve ideal. Ironically, his writings were impeached and burned by Confucian moralist in that time. He was regarded as a "heresy" and attacked by them. And he admitted that he was a heresy.In the last hundred years, there are many studies about Li Zhi and his thought. The Researcher summed up his achievements of the latest a hundred year, and focused on the words "opposition" and "destruction", such as "anti-feudal ethics", "anti-autocratic", "anti-hypocrisy", "the destroyer of Confucianism" and so on. So far, the study of Li Zhi thought mainly focused on the literary aesthetic education, etc in academic circles. The research focus of "Childlike Innocence", more on the other aspects of the origin of "Childlike Innocence", little on the "Childishness" as horizon. And the researcher thought about the significance of Li Zhi’s landmark to be deeply and systematically. Different from the previous researchers’perspective, the researcher attempted to study Li Zhi’s "Childishness", start from the concept of "Childlike Innocence", and tease out construction philosophy of life of Li Zhi’s "Childishness".This paper is divided into four parts. Part one, Li’s life and topics considered; Part two, the proposition of "Childlike Innocence"; Part three, a new definition of life and the foundation of life and the establishment of "should-be" ideal life; Part four, the reconstruction of the relationship between identity and order.Part one, Li’s life and topics considered; Part two, the proposition of "Childlike Innocence". At first, combing the domestic and foreign scholars to study the status of Li Zhi thought. Second,summing up the origin of the article and some simple views.Finally summarizing the main experiences and achievements of Li Zhi’s life on a macro level and showing his life journey.Part two, the proposition of "Childlike Innocence". This theory was seen as a source of heresy. At first, putting forward the reason of this theory. This theory produced in the late Ming Dynasty complex society and was influenced by Yangming "conscience" and his followers of the Taizhou School of Psychology. It absorbed and changed the "true" characteristics of Buddhism and Confucianism. Second, analyzing the background and reason of this theory. All the time, childishness was demoting by the gentlemen. Li Zhi thought all the people had childishness. If we pulled the saints from shrines back and as the true color, they would lack of authoritative.Six Meridians, The Analects,Mencius were not saints’ childishness, they were not classical and universal. The scholars were covered and lost of internal subjectivity. So the scholars blindly followed single moral sages authority and obliterated the diversity, distinctiveness and creativity. Finally the article pointed out that the childishness was pure and true and it embodied unique value of individual life. And it subverted the Confucian moral sole value concept uniqueness and unshakable authority of the system for thousands of years.Part three, a new definition of life and the foundation of life and the establishment of "should-be" ideal life. Li Zhi thought, Childishness was the intrinsic value of individual life foundation. From the perspective of life ought to be, it changed its vision from the country’s external bear to the individual life of self concern and care. It became the "private" heart of self reality demand. The article pointed out that childishness had modern significance and emphasized the individual rights of the "I" of the value of consciousness. We should center on my rights. The value orientation of human life was not in the abstract moral character, it was the uniqueness and diversity of individual life itself. Rethinking of the relationship between public and private with this shift. "Private" was affirmed about the positive significance of the realization of the unique value of individual life. The social desire of individual life can be widely publicized.Finally, the establishment of ideal life should based on its own unique pattern of innocence, allow and encourage a variety of paradigms of human life and deny themselves.Part four, the reconstruction of the relationship between identity and order. Finally, based on the research methods of Hou Wailu school, the article analyzed the difficulties and challenges during the construction under the perspective of Li Zhi’s Childishness from the perspective of legal philosophy relationship in interpersonal contact. And pointed out the contractual relationship, lacking legal fiction, provided a guarantee for the freedom and independence of individual life, and "I" which emphasizing individual rights only buried in the patriarchal kinship fiction which emphasized the obligation of social order. But the discovery of the right of "I" set a precedent that the later scholars attached great importance to the value of individual life. This was the Li Zhi’s childishness which have epoch-making significance.
