"AHLU" stems from Bali language "Dana", is a kind of Buddhism giving, often with a specific ceremony, and through this, people can get a lot of merit. Myanmar people often do "AHLU" in some Festivals, and many important times of their life, and when they have emotional or other needs. Through doing "AHLU", Myanmar people can obtain happiness in their next life, and at the same time they can also get fame and honor. While most of the big "AHLU" are also with big parties, people get together to watch Myanmar traditional dancing, and have meals together, this can help improve the relationship between Myanmar people and society, and young people can also learn more about Myanmar cultures. With the development of social and culture, the forms of "ALHU" activity begin to increase, sevice-only "AHLU" begin to emerge, and on the other hand, the connection between "AHLU" and political or commercial affairs become more and more strong, it reflects the "AHLU" has a profound influence on Myanmar society.This study centers on "AHLU"——which is one of Myanmar people’s daily religious practice around temples, through a year’s field work on a well-known city Temple—Nine-Dragon Temple in Mandalay, and related literature research, author trying to describe contemporary Myanmar people’s religious life, and at the same time, get a better understanding of Myanmar as a whole culture.
