Fictional Real:The Research Of New-documentary

In the beginning of the birth of cinema, since Lumiere brothers created the theory of "reproduction" and Merie created a "representation" concept, real and fiction has been the mainly topic of coexistence of movie discussion form. Thus a distinction between the two categories: documentary and feature films, has been studied. But the degree of importance on the former is always slightly inferior to the latter.In accordance with the people’s traditional understanding, Drama Film and Documentary film has always maintained a clear line. With "real" as documentary’s first feature, and "fiction" as drama film’s main topic, they both has a story dramatic conflict go hand in hand. However, with the continuous development of these two types, documentaries and featured films began intertwined. Also, record and plot boundaries stared increasingly bloomed. There has been a large number of fictionalized fact and documentary style begin to show in a new record performance fictional films and television works.This paper has studied the performance of the western group of fictitious real films, namely "the new documentary film." Since in the New-documentary film time, "real" and "imaginary" began to meet with each other in the dual demands of Motion Picture Arts and commodity artistic. In the same occasion, documentary and feature films approach each other necessarily with regard to the other derived art forms. It is worth noting that the New-documentary has become an important piece among all kinds of film, and also, it changed the traditional features of film in the cinema thriving situation. The New-documentary, with "real" and "imaginary" as its combination of feature film and television creation, has become a bright spot and thus brought great commercial effect far-reaching.Also, the thesis not only explored the aesthetic features of the New-documentary’s history and creative approach, but also discussed its impact on traditional documentaries, feature films and its own commercial work. With the origin of New-documentary theory, by scoping the historical development of the system in order, I try to outline the development of New-documentary about the actual situation in the transmutation ideas, and make some pioneering work for the new record of the creative concept in innovation and development recommendation.
