From Traditional Recreation Activity To Performance Demonstration Project

Huotong Xianshi is a very special traditional recreation activity.Because of its entertainment and ornamental value,Huotong Xianshi has been absorbed in Huotong"Lunar February 2nd Festival"as part of folk activities,passed from generation to generation, continues to this day.Since the 21st century, due to the need for tourism development, Huotong Xianshi has become one of the tourism exhibition projects.With the improvement of awareness,it has attracted the attention of the mass media, and was introduced to the audience as a television program.In this process, the connotation of its role has changed, its living space has been expanded.Based on the first-hand materials obtained from the field investigation, this paper sorts out the traditional cultural ecology on which Huotong Xianshi depends,combs Huotong Xianshi’s historical origin,and investigates the inheritance situation of its production and manipulation skills.On this basis, the article analyzes the development of the connotation of its role since the 21st century, discusses the reasons of this development and its impact on the Huotong Xianshi’s inheritance.Finally, based on HuoTong people’s production life style,the article attempts to find the survival foundation of Huotong Xianshi,explore the ways and methods to promote its inheritance and development in the present cultural ecological environment,...
