Ba is an ancient nation in the area of the Three Gorges, which originated in Qingjiang Valley and established Pakistan in Yichang of Hubei Province.Then Ba expanded westward continuously and it’s force once arrived at the Hanjiang River and the Jialing River Basin area.The aim of this paper discusses specific circumstances of the Ba Culture into the Han culture in different regions through archaeological materials, and clarify the relationship between Ba, Chu, Qin, and Han, at the same time, itanalyzes a series of process of the power system.In the first chapter, firstly, it explains the topic and the related concept of this paper. Under the background of the great unification of Qin Dynasty,the paper studies the fusion of Ba culture and Han culture.introduces the relevant research situation, points out the shortcomings of previous which is relevant research about Ba people but also a study about local type of Han culture,at the same time, it’s apreparation of observation to understand the cultural phenomenon of the Han and JinDynasties. Secondly, it introduces relevant research, points out the shortcomings of previous studies and the innovation of this paper, and introduces the research methods of this paper. In this part, it introduces, the begining, development and research status of the Ba culture research firstly. We mainly focus on the introduction of the Ba culture research existing monographs, Ba culture periods research, the Ba burial culture research, Ba bronze culture research, Ba culture and Chu culture and Qin culture research and so on. Finally, we summing up the deficiency of previous studies:Previous studies are only from burial stage to start to talk about the merging of Ba culture and the Han culture, in one sentence, the topic is too narrow. Or the previous studies just talk about Ba culture problem of Chongqing area or the upper reaches of the Han River without bringing together Ba areas and Ba Culture system. The studies are not enough to represent the Ba culture and Han culture integration in time and space process and the fact. Therefore, this thesis attempts to clearing the Ba culture structure on the whole, clarify the Ba people in relation with Chu and Qin, and in further to explore the Han Dynasty established and merging of Han in the time and spacecontext and the power system which promotes the exchange and merging.The second chapter, it discusses the features of Ba culture and Han understand the difference of the merging situation of Ba culture and Han culture in different parts:Ba culture and Chu culture are section blend and then blend with Han cultural along the Yangtze River of the east of Chongqing, Lishui (Qingjiang segment), the Yuan River (Youshui segment) which are close to Chu culture region; While along Jialing River Basin, upper reaches of Hanjiang River, Ba culture merges into Qin culture firstly, and then merges into Han culture, that direction is from north to south and from west to east.The fourth chapter, discusses the merging power of Ba culture and Han culture. it discusses not only the power source of the establishment and expansion of Ba——three Salt Spring and traffic, but also to explore the reasons which cause Ba people out of the country because of the benefits Salt Spring and which cause the different merging situations in the case of transportation, immigration factors.It finds the Original Shu area chinesize before Ba area, at the same time, the process about chinesization of Ba area is from the west to the East that means early chinesization from neighboring valley of the Han River and Chengdu Plain,on the other hand early chinesization area with Convenient transportation and abundant resources.The fifth chapter is a conclusion part. It summarizes the previous chapters, points out the problems existing in the research of this paper, andfurther research in the future...
