Speaking course, comprehensive course, listening course and reading course are the main courses in teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, students are divided into elementary, middle, and high levels. Compared with the elementary spoken language, senior students have known the basic knowledge of Chinese, and they eager know the more rich and deep meaning in language traditional culture, the advanced speaking course focus on practical communication, expression, discourse expression and diverse context. Idiom, served as colloquial language, has profound cultural meaning which can help the communication successfully, and stimulate atmosphere of the advanced speaking class. Developing Chinese Advanced speaking Course as the oral Chinese teaching books of elementary students of senior, choosing the words from three to seven words, which belong to verb, paralleling, modifier-head construction, subject-predicate structure of idioms, these idioms are distributed in the texts and practical exercise and material in the text and practice statement reflects the flexibility of the phrase structure, and show the cultural meaning,the emotion of expression. Teachers can teach and practice the idiom from the combination of set of information and meaning according to the passage. And from the practical class exercise we can summarize some teaching measures which apply the senior speaking class, such as using the format of idiom to teach separately, using the format of flexibility to teaching actively, using the rhetoric meaning and the culture connotation to teach deeply, using the situation of the text to teach in communicative exercise. According to the needs of communication, teacher combine the context with the characteristic of idiom to teach, which can improve students’ oral communication competence.
