This paper is a practice report written on the basis of C-E interpreting simulation of two Chinese speeches at the 2015 Summit Forum of Scrapped Car Dismantling Industry Chain. The aim of writing this paper is to provide some cases for reference and some experience to those interpreters who are involved in related fields. The author also hopes that the interpreters who do not know auto industry well but have interest in it can have a little acquaintance about the interpretation in this field.The source text has two characteristics: confusing logical relationship and many terms and proper nouns included. Aiming at the confusing logic, the author points out that the interpreters should note the semantic relevance and focus on logical analysis of what is heard in the interpreting process; for the interpretation of terms and proper nouns, the author points out that the interpreters should prepare a term list in advance. With regard to note-taking problem in the interpreting practice, the author points out three suggestions: establishing an effective symbol system, strengthening digital recording skills training and improving the coordination of listening and note-taking. Main research achievements of the paper is that the author has mastered some related knowledge and terms about auto industry and provide corresponding solutions to the problems appearing in the interpretation.
