On Construction Of Ecological Practical Reason With Chinese Characteristics

Ecological crisis has become a vital problem of times that people all over the world must face up.Compared with western industrialized countries, the problem of ecological environment in China, a late-modern state,is special and grim, which has been a bottleneck restricting the healthy and continual development of country’s economy and society. Ecological crisis is the performance of the rational anomie of human beings, essentially, is one of the crisises of practical reason. The ideal of green development and construction of ecological civilization cannot just rely on the promotion of technology and industries, but also need to realize the fundamental changes of practical reason. Therefore, how to realize the ecological transformation of practical reason and how to ensure that the direction of Chinese development always moves forward along the green practice process advocating conservation culture and bio-harmonious China, have become the major theoretical and practical issue in Chinese new pattern of modernization construction emphasizing harmonious development between man and nature.Inspired by Kant’s practical reason, this article firstly defines the ecological practical reason from Marxism’s view on practice, discloses the problems of the western traditional practical reason, and puts forward the Oriental search of the practical reason. Based on the ecological view of marxism, absorbing the ecological wisdom of Chinese traditional culture, so as to construct the ecological practice reason with Chinese characteristics.Secondly, the key to achieve coordinated development between man and nature lies in human and their thinking. On the basis of empirical research on environmental awareness in China, the paper analyzes Chinese current situation and reasons for lack of ecological practice reason as well as opportunities and challenges that ecological practical reason with Chinese characteristics has to meet, and it systematically states the innovation of ideas that Chinese ecological practical reason has to realize. Finally, based on the four aspects of ecological scientific rationality, ecological ethics, ecological belief in the rule of law, and ecological production mode and way of life, this paper aims at helping to raise ecological diathesis and mould the perception of ecological practical reason.Based on the background of promoting the reform of ecological civilization and building a Bio-Harmonious China, this study hopes to explore man-nature relationship from the perspectives of the practical reason, and make a comparison between person’s survival dignity and the improvement of ecological environment, in order to arouse the consciousness of responsibility about protecting the environment, value consciousness and moral consciousness. Besides, it aims at establishing a consciousness of ecological practical reason in the whole society which gets rid of economic reason and supersedes modern industrial civilization, in order to enable China to obtain the ecological optimum and develop continuously.
