Explorations On The Reference Significance For Cultural Activities Of Alliance Fran?aise To Confucius Institutes

As an important channel to promote both languages and culture, Cultural activities have pivotal significance in improving the "cultural soft power" of the countries. Alliance Francaise is a world-known remarkable French language and cultural promoting institution, which has accumulated experience through centuries of practices, and formed its own characteristics in terms of carrying out cultural activities. This paper aims in researching on the cultural activities carried out by Alliance Francaise in recent years, analyzing every aspects and characteristic elements involved in these activities, in order to summarize the successful experience which could providing reference significance for the Confucius Institutes, promoting the construction and development of it as well. The paper mainly focuses on the practical experiences of Alliance Francaise de Wuhan and Confucius Institute at Bansomdejchaopraya Raajabhat University as case analysis. There are four obvious characteristics of the cultural activities carried out by Alliance Francaise could be extracted from the investigation.
