Ellipsis phenomenon is very common and very complicated language phenomenon.In the teaching Chinese as a foreign language it is a very important content of teaching. There are a lot of ellipsis phenomenon In the developing Chinese primary listening course teaching material and primary the HSK listening materials. Ellipsis phenomenon is common among all aspects of Chinese as a kind of language phenomenon. Phonetic phenomenon of the third tone sandhi rule,retroflex suffixation in Chinese, neutral tone, lexical phenomenon of Chinese abbreviation, grammar phenomenon of elliptical sentence, "the" word phrase, the missing quantity phrase component, these all belong to the category of ellipsis phenomenon.The omission phenomenon is the main and outline content at primary teaching Chinese as a foreign language, also is the focus object to train at primary listening course. Ellipsis phenomenon is the produce of the communication, make the complete form of Chinese to change.This change hinder listening comprehension. When students listen to the sound information, omission phenomenon cause many difficulties, including the discrimination of phonetic symbols, understanding the lexical meaning, the construction of sentence surface information. Listening teaching pay more attention to listening and training. Teacher use some methods to teach the omission phenomenon, such as listening more, imitating more then discriminating phonetics omit, training learners to surmise abbreviation meaning,grasping the key words,And consciously finding the missing information of elliptical sentence.Besides, to strengthen the training of developing language intuition and the sensitivity of the word division are also very helpful.
