The Use Of Aesthetic Elements Of Chinese New Year Paintings In Modern Fiber Art Designing

Modern Fiber Art is a kind of old and young art. Along with the development of our society and the progress of science and technology, Modem Fiber Art gets a great breakthrough in artistic conception, material application and fabrication processing, and brings people aesthetic feelings both visually and formally. That’s why Modern Fiber Art becomes more and more popular among the artists and common people. The Chinese New Year Paintings who owns a long history, and has a profound Chinese traditional culture and unique artistic value. But different from the Modern Fiber Art, the Chinese New Year paintings comes across a stagnant development and fade out from people’s life gradually, which because of the impacting of foreign cultures and the changing of people’s aesthetic tendency.Based on the above situation, I try to combine Chinese New Year paintings with Modem Fiber Art organically. I’m going to use Modern Fiber At as the carrier, which has diverse forms and abundant materials of course, to create some works with Chinese New Year Paintings’aesthetic elements. By the combination of Chinese-western style and ancient-modern ways, I want to bring the Chinese New Year Paintings back to the sight of people, and make the Modern Fiber Art more traditional.This paper is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter, the purpose, present situation and methods of this research are written. The second chapter introduces the conception and history of the Chinese New Year Paintings, and also, has a brief analysis of the aesthetic characteristics in composition and modeling. The third chapter briefly describes the characteristics of Modern Fiber Art and the development trend of diversification and nationalization.In the fourth chapter, studies the conjunction point of the Modern Fiber Art and the Chinese New Year paintings, and digs hard the enlightenment of each one to another. Last but not the least, in the fifth chapter, I create some modern fiber art works which join the aesthetic elements of Chinese New Year Paintings, and have a brief description.
