| Oral class is a very important course in Chinese teaching. It can improve students’ oral proficiency and cultivate the students’ social skill. As an indispensable part of oral class, classroom questioning is also an essential means of intercommunication between teachers and students in class teaching.Classroom questioning is a way of improve teaching efficiency, it is worth our imploring and studying. High quality of the classroom questioning can not only improve the students’enthusiasm, but also can create a good classroom atmosphere. So we must attach importance to ask questions in class teaching. As a special group, novice teachers are the new forces of Chinese teaching and they are worth studying. The research of the novice teachers’questioning in the elementary oral class can make us deeply understand the class activities, find the problems of classroom questioning, and provide the reference and consult for the novice teachers training in future.The thesis uses the natural investigation to collect date from 3 novice teachers, 270-minute teaching videos. By analyzing the amount of questions, the questions types, questioning strategies, teachers’feedback and teachers’waiting time.Based on comprehensive analysis of classroom observation> recording data and interview, novice teachers’questioning in the elementary oral class show the following characters:novice teachers pay great attention to the role of asking questions in the classroom, they can make a active interaction with students by asking questions; On question types, display problems are in the majority while reference problems are not fully used in the classroom; novice teachers uses a lot of questioning strategies, the most common questioning skill is repeat or rephrase, the most frequently used way of asking questions is let the whole class to answer;the rate of novice teachers’feedback to students’answers is very high, they often repeat the students’ answers to affirm them or praise them by directly encouragement; novice teachers’classroom rhythm is faster, they didn’t gave enough waiting time to students. The thesis points out the existing problems of novice teachers’classroom questioning in the elementary oral class, and finally give out the corresponding suggestions.For example, novice teachers must strengthen the consciousness of question, enrich the way of question, affirm and praise students as more as possible, give students enough waiting time to think, let the students speak more Chinese. |
