A Study On Discourse Connectives “yao X”

Connective is a common language phenomenon in daily communication. In view of the present research status, the paper explains the pragmatic function and conversational interaction of the discourse connectives “yao X”on the basis of discourse connectives research situation at home and abroad, combining with domestic “yao” and “yao X”. The full-text is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introduction. This part mainly introduces the research situation at home and abroad of the discourse connectives, meanwhile, including the main content, research methods and corpus etc.The second chapter talks about the general situation of “yao”. The author analyzes the forming process of “yao” from the perspective of diachrony and grammaticalization progress of “yao” from the evolution of words.Classification of functions, put the discourse connectives “yao X” that have same function in one class. And then analyzes each example sentences one by one.By analyzing the pragmatic function and syntactic function of discourse connectives“yao X” which have the same function in a sentence. It explores the connection and differences between the discourse connectives “yao X” which have the same function.The fourth chapter mainly proceeds with the context, semantic change and sentence grammar characteristic to get the similarities and differences discourse connectives “yao X” that the prototype and variation, and how to use them in an article.The fifth chapter talks about the characteristic of discourse connectives “yao X”,which includes the usage characteristic of conversational patterns and advantages of interaction in conversation. It presents the unique value in the discourse connectives“yao X”.The sixth chapter is conclusion, which summarizes the main content systematically and explains its research value.
