This thesis uses the experimental phonetics acoustic research methods to analyse the Olot vernacular vowels in Mongolia and compares with the vowels in Khalkh vernacular, Xinjiang’s Olot vernacular and Turehot vernacular. This thesis consistes of five parts:the preface, the first chapter, the second chapter, the third chapter and the conclusion.The preface introduces the Olot tribes and the Olot vernacular, the overview of previous studies, the topic basis, the research purpose and the research methods.The first chapter described the distribution characteristics, the types and the pronunciation features of Olot vernacular short vowels (first-syllable short vowel and non-first-syllable short vowel) in Mongolia, and compared with the Khalkh vernacular, the Xinjiang Olot vernacular and the Turehot vernacular.The second chapter describes the distribution characteristics, the types and the pronunciation features of Olot vernacular long vowels (first-syllable long vowel and non-first-syllable long vowel) in Mongolia, and compared with the Khalkh vernacular, the Xinjiang Olot vernacular and the Turehot vernacular. Finally observes the type of dephthong.The third chapter makes the acoustic analysis of the vowel harmony rate of Olot vernacular in Mongolia.The conclusion gives the conclusion of the analysis and the comparison.
