Every stage had a lot of summaries in the historical process of the study on Chinese classical aesthetics. However, how to study innovatively on Chinese classical aesthetics needs to be solved to achieve the great rejuvenation of Chinese traditional culture. Xiangfeng Wang studied Chinese classical aesthetics by a variety of Marxist methodology based on innovative Marxist theory. This dialectical scientific attitude made studying on Chinese classical aesthetics with new discoveries and depth of development.In this study, the Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology was as the object of study. Marxist practical methodology, dialectical methodology and system methodology implied in Mr. Wang’s academic achievements of Chinese classical aesthetics were excavated. The study characteristics of the Chinese and Western docking, ancient and modern accommodation and bridging reference of the theory and practice in Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology were summed. Firstly, the Chinese and Western docking in Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology was studied. The method that was the comparative studies of early detection and theory origin beyond nature of the Chinese and western aesthetics was applied to study the Chinese classical aesthetics in Mr. Wang’s ideology. The Mr. Wang’s study reacted strongly to westerners’ argument that it does not have aesthetics history in China, and established the important position of the Chinese classical aesthetics in the world culture. Secondly, the ancient and modern accommodation in Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology was studied. Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology explicated the aesthetic ideologies in an existence and a variety of literary theories and found the rule throughout ancient and modern in aesthetic perspective and category. Mr. Wang explored signally the systematicness of his aesthetic ideology for the aesthetic perspective and category. He found origin of the aesthetic perspective and category and analyzed the relationships between themselves and later aesthetic perspective and category. His combing and study of the Chinese classical aesthetic ideology showed the evolution of history of the objective laws in image scope, appearance-spirit theory, and aesthetic association. Thirdly, the bridging reference of the theory and practice in Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology was studied. Art theory originates in practice. The art theory coming from practice will again guide practice. It is a close correlation with art theory and art practice. Mr. Wang combined them together to study the Chinese classical aesthetics. The origin of art practice was explored in aesthetic theory. Meanwhile, the theory was explored in the art practice. The Mr. Wang’s study can make that the Chinese classical aesthetics has practically theoretical significance and provides the theoretical resources of a current art practice.This study highlighted the theoretical significance and practical value of Mr. Wang’s Chinese classical aesthetic ideology. The Mr. Wang’s study established the important position of the Chinese classical aesthetics in the world culture, described the outline of historical development of the Chinese classical aesthetic category, explicated the relationship between the theory and practice in the Chinese classical aesthetics, revealed the theoretical significance of the current Chinese classical aesthetics, and offered a new idea to study the Chinese classical aesthetics. These contributions had importantly theoretical significance and practical value on the study of the current Chinese classical aesthetics.
