Adorno is representative of the Frankfurt School, and also is a vital esthetician of the school, his aesthetic ideas in its later work focuses on "aesthetics", his aesthetic ideas owns theoretical characteristics of the whole school, and also has a distinctive personal touch. The reason is that Adorno’s thought contains various components, consisting of the tension between these different components makes their theory presents a unique morphology. Adorno’s thought can be seen as a part of the Frankfurt School critical theory of society, his aesthetic ideas of his social critique theory extends the field of aesthetics, with a strong critique of colors. This paper tries to start from this point of criticism, focusing on its edge within the meaning of aesthetics, to tease out the specific induction characterize the aesthetics inherent in the critical and theoretical analysis of its critics thought connotation, efforts to clarify its critics behind the aesthetic ideal. Firstly,the paper analysis its aesthetics theory orientation, and in-depth analysis the sense of aesthetics in its critical issues, theory and criticism applied to solve the path. Adorno’s thoughts which contained critical part is summarized as internal and external point in two parts: an internal point of traditional aesthetics; external point of popular culture. By criticizing both directions, Adorno himself raised over the ideal of aesthetics and modern art. Finally, this paper evaluated from two perspectives and limitations beyond Adorno aesthetics of critically.
