The gender theme extended from love is beyond the actual forces of time and space,it just likes a tie making D.H.Lawrence and Junichi Watanabe to appear in our field of vision at the same time. Although, in the different social background of the east and west world, the two writers in literary creation display many similarities. This paper will take the gender view as a breakthrough point, focus on comparing and analyzing the differences together with the reasons between Lawrence and Junichi Watanabe in literary creationThis article is divided into three chapters. The first part is focused on mining the different propositions as well as exploration courses between D.H.Lawrence and Junichi Watanabe in gender writing:They both againsted the modern civilization more or less, criticized that the adverse factors of the modern civilization had destroyed the originally healthy and harmonious gender relationship; They both highly affirmed the rationality of human instinct desire from the perspective of physiology. For how to rebuild a harmonious sexual relationship, they offered a similar redemption prescription, it was against the symptoms of modernity human society with astounding sexual behavior and sexual experience; They both started from the broken homes, attempted to find out the outlet of sexual love outside of marriage. This part integrates the similarities of the two writters,at the same time,it also deeply analyzes their differences in social attitudes, the views of sex, the exploration course and the exploration results. The second part is aimed at finding out the reasons influencing the literary creation of Lawrence and Junichirou Watanabe. The British society moving towards to the industrial civilization with big steps constituted the big background and the object of criticism in Lawrence’s writings; in Junichi Watanabe’s opinion, the workplace environment which was characterized by "entrepreneurialism" and the rigid marriage under the traditional social structure environment were the breeding ground of the contradictions between the sexes. The western literary theory in the 20th century, for example, Nietzsche’s life philosophy,Freud’s psychoanalysis and Bergson’s intuitionism, had great influence on Lawrence as well as his creation; the traditional lewd, aesthetic literature of Japan played a subtle role in Junichi Watanabe’s literary creation.Family environment, love experiences contributed to Lawrence’s autobiographic novel and oedipus complex; love experiences and medical career provided the prototypes of the characters to Junichi Watanabe. Besides, it helped him to form the unique view of life and death. Lawrence, grew up in the western society where the Christian was prevailing, quoted the bible frequently. As the personal philosophy gradually matured, he transformed from a Christian to a ranter criticizing the religious thoughts; Junichi Watanabe’s thoughts were more restrained by Japan’s indigenous Shinto. The last part is the thinking and summary about the two writers’exploration of the sexes.ln other words, it is the realistic meanings of this paper which compared, analyzed the commonalities and differences of Lawrence and Junichi Watanabe. In the process of phase sexual exploration,Lawrence was caught in the idealism and the evolutionary thought Junichi Watanabe regarded the sexual intercourse worship as the core of thoughts. They ultimately failed to find the reasonable way of the sexual love. In fact, mabe sexual love, influenced by Individuals, families, nations, age and many other factors, doesn’t have the so-called universal salvation road. The perfect sexual relations need men and women both parties business, maintain together specifically.
