The Study Of ChenSuowen’s Sanqu Poetry

Chen Suowen, who was lived in Nanjing most of his time, is one of the famous composer in late Ming dynasty. In this paper, the author takes Chen Suowen’s Sanqu creation as the research object, analysis the ideological implication and the artistic characteristics of his work through the textual research and carding his life.The first chapter mainly discusses the Chen Suowen’s life and works, the general situation of association of Chen Suowen and other Jinling scholar friends, and his claims about the way how to compose the Sanqu. Chen’s life is quite controversial during the academia, This article has carried on the brief statement about his life.The textual research and carding Chen suowen’s association with other scholar friends in this paper is helpful to more deeply appreciate his emotional connotation; and the discussion of his Sanqu ideas is also very helpful to grasp its unique Sanqu style.The second chapter discussed the emotional implication of Chen Suowen sanqu. This chapter is divided into three parts. The first part mainly make Chen Suowen’s negative Sanqu as the research object, analyzes why Chen Suowen had this kind of depressed feelings, like his difficult career, embarrassment material life and his family member’s departure. Also at the same time, the chant "great saphenous" analyzed another cause of formation of his frustrated abjection another factor, that is the psychological gap when he is engaged in social activities. The second part is exploration of his boudoir-plaint works. Most of heroine in his work is sensitivity because their fickle fate. The interpretation of unmarried girls of mental anguish will assist to understand the author’s depression. The third part focuses on Chen Suowen’s positive works and expressed that depressed mood is not the works of the whole picture, while he’s suffering, but he’s not gave up to find the positive things in the life. We also discussed how Chen Suowen try to get rid of that negative mood and collect the happiness form the friendship and hiking experience and story mood.The third chapter mainly analyzes Chen Suowen’s Sanqu works which character is elegant, the elegant means the quiet of the environment and the beautiful words. Chen Suowen also have other style work, such as rich and gaudy, natural color and so on.from the point of view of the art’s value, this kind of works is also quite impressive.
