The Music Education Research Of Church Schools In Coastal Areas After The Opium War

Chinese and Western cultural exchanges in the world of religion has began in the ancient times. As early as the seventh century(Emperor Zhenguan nine years), Christianity has been introduced to China. Church missionary activity was generally limited to the court and did not spread widely in China at that time. Christianity formally introduced into China,and impacted on China is after the Opium War.With the signing of a series of unequal treaties, foreign missionaries after another, and Missionary school in China, and church schools can be said of Modern School Beginning of education.It is widely recognized that the modern School of Music originatorthe for China was in early twentieth century academic called "school songs" but the the church music school rarely mention,Church school music education research is still shallow covered.After the Opium War,the church schools was rised in our country.China was forced to open Guangzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Ningbo and Shanghai as treaty ports.Therefore, our early church school focused on the coastal areas based on the historical data.The object of this study is the church school which in the coastal areas, after the Opium War. The full text is divided into three chapters,before the introduction.The first chapter divided into two sections gave an overview of the overall educational status of the early church schools,including the incoming process, the establishment of the process,the purpose of teaching, teaching content of church schools.The second chapter introduces China’s coastal areas church school music teaching activities in historical basis after the Opium War.Course content is divided into three large pieces:Hymns harmonic chorus,rhyme,musictheory enlighten.Through the research of teaching activities,showing a substantially face in early Church School Music Education.The third chapter is a reflection and analysis for the significance of church school music education in coastal areas of China the Opium War.And trying to put the church school music education into the historical category of music education in our country to see the role and produced in the music history,On the whole,this paper based on historical data,attempting to present the church school music education landscape in early days objectively.So that people can treat the church school music education more objectively and impartially.
