In recent years, the number of Chinese people in Korea has increased sharply, which makes the demand for people with Chinese language skill increase in South Korea. And the trend of Chinese learning began to younger age. The NOCFL also sent a large number of Chinese volunteer teachers to Korea, but most of them were teaching in primary and secondary schools, preschool children in Chinese education is not as common.Students at the author’s institution are 4 to 6 years old preschool children. Motivation and objectives of learning Chinese are not so clear due to younger age. They have their own language acquisition and behavior characteristics, which make the teaching method and teaching content differ from other students in a different age. But during the research, the author found that there were not so many researches focused on Chinese education of preschool students and very few methods can be references. However 4 to 6 years old age is the golden period of language learning, it is worthwhile to think that in order to achieve the best learning effect, what should we do to stimulate students’ interest.Based on the own teaching experience, the author did a research of Chinese teaching situation at Seoul Songpa Kids Cultural Center. Taking teachers, teaching materials, teaching contents, schedules and other aspects in to consideration, analyzing the advantages and challenges of Chinese teaching situation at school. And through to the students and their parents, access to the questionnaire survey to get the corresponding feedback. In the process of practice, the author summarizes some suitable Chinese language teaching method for preschool children, and put forward some suggestions on teaching school, hope to promote the development of the school of Chinese language education, Also there are some suggestions for volunteers and related training institutes hoping to help Chinese teachers be better in Chinese teaching afterwards. To promote the development of children’s Chinese language teaching in Korea, and to provide some references for future Chinese teaching for preschool children.
