Opera in three acts the “Lakmé” is one of the representative composer of the romantic period Delib. The opera has a strong oriental flavor. Story takes place in India,and sacrificial Nila Kanta Brahman daughter Lakshmi beauty and British officer Gerald love imbroglio constitute the main line of the story of the development of is one to love as the theme of the tragedy. It has the characteristics of romantic music and national character, and plays an important role in the history of opera. “Song of the Indian bells”is the second act in sacrifice to lay violent hands on the Gerald, Lakme through this aria,on the surface like in telling a story, in fact, is to the lover to suggest that there is a danger, must beware of, this aria and plot combined very closely. Aria soprano voice imitation silver bell sound, and fully display the coloratura artistic charm, this aria is also known as classical coloratura arias.The on the basis of introduction on the composer’s life and the analysis of drama,combined with the author’s own singing experience, focus on the aria music and singing were analyzed. This paper is mainly divided into three parts: the first part mainly outlines the composer’s life and the main contents of the opera. The second part mainly analyzes the aria of musical structure and musical language features for better understanding and singing the aria to pave the way. The third part mainly analyzes the aria singing skills, including the use of breath in singing application, and emotion expression, singing music and language combination, singing coloratura skills. Through the analysis of singing skills, make the singer more accurately express Aria “Song of the Indian bells”style characteristic, so as to more vividly and singing the song works.
